Chris Messina Joins Damages

Chris Messina will join the cast of Damagesin Season 4, TVGuide.com has confirmed.

Messina, who recently appeared opposite Amy Adams in Julie & Julia, will play a former decorated soldier who now works for a private security firm run by a corrupt CEO (played by John Goodman.)

Messina's character is also a high school friend of Ellen Parsons (Rose Byrne), who will take on a wrongful death suit against the military contractor.

The fourth season of Damages will air exclusively on DirecTV. It is slated to premiere this summer.
