Did Chris Brown and Rihanna Split Up?

A tweet from a Los Angeles radio station over the weekend has led to much speculation over whether Rihanna and Chris Brown have broken up (again) — but the answer is no.

"Are you still w/Rihanna? @Chris Brown: 'Uh, no-that's the short answer," L.A.'s Power 106 tweeted Friday morning, according to E! News. The tweet has since been removed.

But it turns out that was a quote from Brown months ago, the last time he sat down with the station for an on-air interview, a station rep told E! "Chris Brown's comment of that he's not with Rihanna was from when Chris was here last, which [deejay] Big Boy used to set up the question he asked Chris this morning," the rep said.

When Big Boy asked Brown about the quote in the new interview, he quipped that Brown "didn't tell all the truth," E! reports. But in regards to his current relationship status, Brown said, "I'm a lover, man. Definitely in love."

Brown added that, while he hasn't seen Rihanna since she left for her Diamonds World Tour, he hopes to fly out and catch a couple of her shows, according to E!
