Chicago Med's Dr. Rhodes Receives an Alarming Call Mid-Surgery in Cryptic Sneak Peek

You know that crippling terror the second you realize your mom is calling to see if you defrosted the chicken? And that feeling of dread building with each ring because you know that you hadn't? That might be the best way to describe what Dr. Rhodes (Colin Donnell) is going through in this week's Chicago Med.

In an exclusive sneak peek at Wednesday's episode, titled "Tell Me the Truth," Dr. Rhodes receives an alarming call mid-surgery that's important enough for him drop everything and rush out of the OR with no explanation whatsoever. But what could it possibly be? Was it the squad calling with juicy gossip? A sale at Sephora? Is the McRib back? Or perhaps something has gone terribly wrong with his father?

Whatever the case, that cryptic call sets the stage for a dramatic hour that also finds Will (Nick Gehlfuss) taking on an FBI agent as a patient but suspects there's more to the operative's story. Elsewhere, Ethan (Brian Tee) and Natalie (Torrey DeVitto) will butt heads in a huge fight over doctor-patient confidentiality.
