Chicago Fire Exclusive: Severide and Casey Face a Serious Threat

Severide (Taylor Kinney) and Casey (Jesse Spencer) have faced their fair share of gnarly fires on Chicago Fire, but the two will have to tackle a different kind of threat in Thursday's episode.

In this exclusive clip, the firefighters of Truck 81 and Rescue Squad 3 are called in to save a prison guard from a nasty accident. With an unruly prisoner causing a ruckus in the back of the van, Severide and Casey are put in a tough spot regarding how they'll rescue the injured guard. However, underlying tensions between the two further complicate an already tricky situation.

The tense rescue will have lasting effects and see the two once again at odds thanks to some additional stoking from Severide's former mentor, Chief Grissom (Gary Cole). Can't these two just hash it out over beer and cigars?

Meanwhile, Herrmann (David Eigenberg) will face some struggles of his own when he tries to entertain his daughter on "bring your child to work day." Plus, Brett (Kara Killmer) will receive a surprise visitor during her spa getaway courtesy of Dawson (Monica Raymund).
