With American Idol and Dancing With the Stars on summer vacation, NBC's breakout hit stands as TV's premiere reality competition; new lead-in America's Got Talent can't hope to compete in terms of star power and, well, talent. This week's conclusion of the battle rounds was memorably bookended by Jeff Jenkins' and Casey Desmond's thrilling duet on "Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me" and Curtis Grimes' surprise liplock with Emily Valentine after crooning "Need You Now." (In both cases, the guys emerged victorious.)

Now that NBC has announced Season 2 will kick off after the Super Bowl in February, there should be no silencing The Voice. Especially since Cee Lo Green was quoted as saying he and fellow judges Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine are all signed for another year. To paraphrase the cleaned-up Cee Lo, "Forget yeah!"
