The Franco-American actress — previously best known for her dual role on Big Love — has pulled off a star-making turn as Seattle detective Sarah Linden on AMC's hypnotic mystery. Even though this week's episode, "Missing," was essentially a time-killer, as Linden and her ex-meth-head partner Stephen Holder (Joel Kinnaman) took a time out from investigating the Rosie Larsen murder to search for her missing teenage son, Enos didn't hit a false note.
The mixture of relief and anger on Sarah's face when she found her offspring alive was a complex combo perhaps only a mother could muster (Enos gave birth to her first child with her husband, Spin City alum Alan Ruck, shortly after shooting The Killing's pilot). One can only hope the Emmys don't forget Enos when nomination time comes around — and that AMC picks up the show for a second season. Maybe The Killing can do a crossover with The Walking Dead!
