The witheringly witty comic, best known for his recurring gigs as a roving correspondent for Late Show with David Letterman and as one of Ray's sportswriter pals on Everybody Loves Raymond, is branching out beyond CBS. Hot on the heels of his brilliant Comedy Central Presents special, Kindler is significantly upping the hip factor (along with co- judge Greg Giraldo and new host Craig Robinson) on NBC's summer reality show Last Comic Standing. And watch him mix it up with his fellow Andy (Dick) on the June 24 episode of Showtime's new stand-up roundtable The Green Room with Paul Provenza.

Kindler's become a cult hero for his take-no-prisoners "State of the Industry" address at Montreal's "Just for Laughs" comedy festival every summer. It remains to be seen whom he'll zing this year, but one thing is certain: The state of Kindler's career is strong.
