With more than 10 minutes left in the telecast, host
disingenuously asked J. Lo and her fellow judges if they'd reached a final verdict on the last of the three "wild cards" they were selecting. "It's live TV — we just need a couple more minutes," Lopez pleaded unconvincingly. "We'll hurry." (Sorry, Jen, you're not that good of an actress.) "While you think about it, let's roll this video," Seacrest "ad libbed." "The folks at Ford are bringing you the world premiere of your video, 'On the Floor.'" (Subtle plug, Ry.)What followed was nearly five minutes of Lopez making like a
wannabe, sporting outlandish costumes and hairstyles and busting out some of the most awkward dance moves since Elaine Benes' heyday. The lyrics were even more painful: "Pump it up and back it up like a Tonka Truck... If you're a criminal, kill it on the floor... It's getting ill, it's getting sick on the floor." After being force-fed this rotten jam, so was I.Did Jennifer Lopez's video "Floor" you?
