A new addition to ESPN's 30 for 30
Thanks to FX's recently concluded The People v O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story, much attention has once again been turned to the case and life of O.J. Simpson. Now the man is about to be the subject of a new ESPN 30 for 30documentary called O.J. Simpson: Made in America -- and here's a trailer.
Knife found on O.J. Simpson's former estate not connected to the murders.
Directed by Ezra Edelman, the eight-hour documentary will examine not just the famous murder trial, but all of Simpson's life. "What is lost 20 years later is that there's this story that led up to the trial," Edelmen said at the Television Critics Association winter TV previews in January. "There was a history, in terms of who O.J. was as a celebrity and as a black man in America that is fascinating. What I think is hopefully different in this is a totally engaging narrative that takes place over the course of 40 years ... not one."
O.J. Simpson: Made in America will air on ABC and ESPN in June.
