Becker alum Shawnee Smith has been cast as Charlie Sheen's on-screen ex-wife in his upcoming comedy, Anger Management, Deadline reports.
In Anger Management, produced by Bruce Helford (George Lopez), Sheen will play Charlie, a former baseball player with anger issues who becomes an unconventional anger management counselor.

According to early casting breakdowns for the role, Charlie's ex-wife is described as a beautiful woman who doesn't have her life together and is on the constant search for a life path. She always lets her identity be defined by Charlie, but left him after years of his cheating and now goes from boyfriend to boyfriend, much to Charlie's chagrin.
Smith's role is one of two female leads on Anger Management. According to Deadline, Selma Blair and Elaine Hendrix are both up for the role of Charlie's therapist.

Anger Management is set to premiere on FX in June with an initial 10-episode run. Should it earn strong ratings, another 90 episodes will be produced.
Smith will next star opposite Kevin Bacon and Robert Duvall in Jayne Mansfield's Car.
