Filipina pop star and Glee alum Charice Pempengco will address questions surrounding her gender and sexuality in Sunday's Oprah: Where Are They Now.

Out and proud celebs

Recently, rumors have suggested that the singer, who came out last year, might be transitioning to male. When Oprah questioned whether the reports were true, Charice clarified that she is "not exactly transitioning to a male-male. But basically, my soul is like a male. But I'm not going to go through that stage where I'm going to change everything." Instead, Charice said she plans on simply keeping her hair short and wearing men's clothing.

The singer, who appeared in Glee's second season as foreign exchange student Sunshine Corazon and whom Oprah once dubbed "the most talented girl in the world," also discussed being confused by her sexuality at very young age: "I knew when I was five. 'Cause I was in grade school and I saw this girl and I felt different. I didn't know what it was," Charice explained. "And when I was 10, I was like, 'Oh that's it, I'm gay.' I found the word."

For more on Charice's journey, watch Oprah: Where Are They Now on Sunday at 9/8c on OWN.
