Ever notice how iterations of the phrase "thrown under the bus" pop up over and over and over again on The Apprentice? If not and especially if so, check out the video below, which presents a number of instances of people beating the dead phrase from all four celebrity editions of the show, including the most recent one that ended Sunday night. While this saying isn't as particular to reality TV as something like, "I'm not here to make friends," it's part of the Apprentice vernacular — perhaps second only to Donald Trump's perpetual refrain, "You're fired!"...

While this saying isn't as particular to reality TV as something like, "I'm not here to make friends," it's part of the Apprentice vernacular — perhaps second only to Donald Trump's perpetual refrain, "You're fired!"

Maybe it's time to fire this cliché, but then that would take all the fun out of making montages of it, wouldn't it?
