CeeLo Green pled no contest Friday to a felony charge of sharing ecstasy, TMZ.com reports.

The former Voice coach was charged in October 2013 of furnishing ecstasy to a woman he had been dating in July 2012. However, Green only had to plea no contest to sharing the drug, meaning he voluntarily shared it with her, because there was insufficient evidence for the more severe charge.

Green, 39, must perform 360 hours of community service at the MusiCares Foundation of the Recording Academy and attend 52 AA meetings with a private therapist. He will also be on probation for three years.

Four months after Green was charged, he announced on Ellenthat he would not be returning to The Voice after four seasons in the big red chair. He most recently starred on his own TBS reality show, CeeLo Green's The Good Life.
