CBS Moves Vegas to Fridays; Golden Boy to Remain on Tuesdays

Bad news for Vegas— CBS is moving the drama to a Friday night time slot beginning in April, the network announced Thursday.

The new drama Golden Boy, which aired two preview episodes in Vegas' original Tuesday night time slot, will take over the Tuesday 10 p.m. position permanently. However, an original episode of Golden Boy will still air as scheduled this Friday, March 8, at 9/8c. The two preview episodes won the time slot ratings-wise, with Golden Boy drawing an average of nearly 10 million viewers and a 1.7 rating in the 18-to-49 demographic.

Vegas will move to the Friday 9 p.m. time slot beginning April 5, after the network's coverage of the NCAA Basketball Tournament has concluded.
