The fall TV season is taking shape. Networks have ordered dozens of new pilots starring familiar faces like Friends' David Schwimmer, and from proven producers like How I Met Your Mother bosses Carter Bays and Craig Thomas, 30 Rock's Tina Fey and Arrow's Greg Berlanti. Networks have ordered dozens of new pilots starring familiar faces like Friends' David Schwimmer, Dexter's Jennifer Carpenter, Southland's Benjamin McKenzie and Grey's Anatomy alum Katherine Heigl, and from proven producers like The Mentalist'sBruno Heller, Sleepy Hollowcreators Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci, How I Met Your Motherbosses Carter Bays and Craig Thomas, 30 Rock's Tina Fey and Arrow's Greg Berlanti.

DRAMA

Madam Secretary
A drama about the personal and professional life of a maverick female Secretary of State (Tea Leoni) as she drives international diplomacy, wrangles office politics and balances a complex family life. Joan of Arcadia creator Barbara Hall will write and executive-produce with Oscar winner Morgan Freeman. Tim Daly, Bebe NeuwirthGeoffrey Arend, Patina Miller, Erich Bergen and Katherine Herzer will also star.

NCIS: New Orleans
The two-episode backdoor pilot takes a look at NCIS' New Orleans office, which handles cases from Pensacola, Fla., through Mississippi and Louisiana to the Texas panhandle. New Orleans, with its rich setting of music, fun and debauchery, is a magnet for military personnel on-leave. And with the fun comes trouble. NCIS' Gary Glasberg and Mark Harmon will executive-produce. Scott Bakula, Zoe McLellan, Lucas Black, CCH Pounder and Paige Turco will star.

Red Zone
When a terrorist event rocks Washington, D.C., a retired CIA operative is pulled back into action and forced to investigate the next generation of terrorists being bred closer to home. Revenge's Nikki Toscano will write and executive-produce with Bates Motel's Kerry Ehrin. Anthony LaPaglia, Kim DickensAimee Garcia, Sepideh Moafi, Stefanie Scott and Shanley Caswell will star.

Scorpion
An eccentric genius (Elyes Gabel) and his international network of super-geniuses form the last line of defense against the complex threats of the modern age. Sleepy Hollowcreators Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci will executive-produce the project from Prison Break's Nick Santora. Katharine McPhee, Eddie Kaye Thomas, Ari Stidham and Robert Patrick will also star.

Untitled CSI Spin-off
Technology, as we know it, has amplified human behavior to the point where faceless criminals are committing crimes at global proportions with a touch of a button.  Avery Ryan (Patricia Arquette), Special Agent in Charge at the Cyber Crime Division of the FBI in Quantico, VA, is tasked to solve high octane crimes that start in the mind, live on-line, and play out into the real world. Jerry Bruckheimer and Jonathan Littman will executive-produce; Carol Mendelsohn, Anthony Zuiker and Ann Donahue will write and executive-produce. 

Untitled Cusack/McCabe/Elmore/Cavell Project
The drama from John Cusack is set in the world of Wall Street power and money. The Say Anything... actor co-wrote the story with Justifiedproducers Taylor Elmore, Ben Cavell and Kevin McCabe, who will all serve as executive producers, alongside Elementaryproducers Sarah Timberman and Carl Beverly. Charlie Cox, Maggie Grace, David Morse, Joseph Lyle Taylor and Sophie Okonedo will star.

Untitled David Marshall Grant Project
A soapy medical show stars quadruplets — three brothers and a sister — who grew up on a reality show. Jamie Lee Curtis has been cast as the foursome's mother Caroline, a physician who now runs the hospital. Elementaryproducers Sarah Timberman and Carl Beverly will executive-produce with writer David Marshall Grant (Looking). Ashton Holmes, Anna Brewster, Nick Jandl and Cameron Scoggins will also star.

Untitled Kevin Williamson Project
A pair of detectives handle stalking incidents for the Threat Management Unit of the LAPD in this thriller. Dylan McDermott will star as Detective Jack Larsen, a recent transfer to the Threat Assessment Unit from the Big Apple, and Maggie Q will play Detective Beth Davis, the head of the Unit. The Following's Kevin Williamson will write and executive-produce. Mariana Klaveno and Victor Rasuk will also star.

COMEDY

Cuz-Bros
The perfect life of a successful, suave ladies' man (Geoff Stults) gets turned upside-down when his mess of a cousin (Parker Young) needs a place to stay. Happy Endings creator David Caspe and Erik Sommers will write and executive-produce with Jamie Tarses. Ian GomezDebra Jo Rupp and Andrea Anders will also star.

Good Session
Happy couple Joel (James Roday) and Lindsay (Mandy Moore) decide to see a therapist to help them decide if they should have a baby, but they quickly discover that they have more to discuss. From I Love You, Man's John Hamburg and Chuck'sMatt Miller. Rich Sommer, Ana Nogueira and Tracey Ullman will also star.

How I Met Your Dad
This How I Met Your Mother spin-off tells the story of flighty Sally (Greta Gerwig), whose stuck in a bad marriage with Gavin (Anders Holm) and perhaps ready for a fresh start. HIMYM creators Carter Bays and Craig Thomas andUp All Night creator Emily Spivey will write and executive-produce. Tiya SircarNick D'Agosto, Andrew Santino and Drew Tarver will also star. Meg Ryan will narrate.

McCarthy's
This family comedy is about a loud, sports-crazy Boston clan that includes Laurie Metcalf, Jack McGee, Joey McIntyre, Tyler Ritter, Jimmy Dunn and Kelen Coleman. Brian Gallivan (Are You There, Chelsea?) will write and executive-produce with Friends with Benefits' Will Gluck and Mike Sikowitz.

The Mistake
This multi-camera comedy tells the story of a couple who discovers they're going to have another baby just when they think they're "finished" raising the kids they already have. Friends producers Scott Silveri and Shana Goldberg-Meehan will write and executive-produce with Seinfeld's David Mandel and Andy Ackerman, who will also direct the pilot. Julianna Guill will co-star.

More Time with Family
Comedian Tom Papa stars as a husband and father making a career change to, well, spend more time with his family. Ben Affleck and Matt Damon will executive-produce with writers Papa and 'Til Death's John Goldsmith. Alyson Hannigan, Joe Pantoliano, Nancy Lenehan, Cyrus Arnold, Zoe Pessin and Jack Gore will also star.

The Odd Couple
Friends alum Matthew Perry and Reno 911!'s Thomas Lennon will star in the modern take on Neil Simon's 1965 Broadway play about polar opposite roomates. Perry and Joe Keenan will write and executive-produce with Elementary producers Carl Beverly and Sarah Timberman and Two and a Half Men's Eric and Kim Tannenbaum. Sarah Baker, Lindsay SloaneGeorgia King and Wendell Pierce will also star.

Save the Date
Newly single Katie (Psych's Maggie Lawson) drunkenly books a wedding venue and is now faced with the task of meeting the right man in time. That '70s Show's Jackie and Jeff Filgo will write and executive-produce. Michelle Trachtenberg, Jay R. FergusonJulie White, Brian Howe and Tom Bennett will also star.

Untitled Jim Gaffigan Project
Jim Gaffigan stars as a happily married, harried NYC father of five -- as he is in real life. Rescue Meco-creator Peter Tolan and Gaffigan will write and executive-produce. Ashley Williams, Michael Ian Black, Adam Goldberg and Tongayi Chirisa will also star.
