DRAMA
The Advocates
A lawyer (Mandy Moore) and an ex-con (Benjamin McKenzie) team up as "victim advocates," going to the very edge of the law to right wrongs and fight for the underdog. The Mentalist's Bruno Heller will write and executive-produce. CCH Pounder, Esai Morales and Brit Morgan will also star.
Anatomy of Violence
A criminal psychologist (Skeet Ulrich) who studies sociopaths partners with a young female detective (Amber Tamblyn) with whom he shares a conflicted past. Homeland producers HowardGordon, Alex Gansa and Alex Cary will write and executive-produce. David Harewood will co-star.
Backstrom
Based on the Swedish book series about an overweight, irascible detective (Rainn Wilson) as he tries and fails to change his self-destructive behavior.Bones' Hart Hanson will write and executive-produce. Mamie Gummer, Dennis Haysbert, Kristoffer Polaha, Thomas Dekker, Camryn Manheim, Page Kennedy and Beatrice Rosen will co-star.
Beverly Hills Cop
In a sorta-sequel to the movie franchise, Axel Foley's (Eddie Murphy) police officer son (Brandon T. Jackson) patrols the rich and famous of Beverly Hills. The Shield's Shawn Ryan will write and executive-produce with Murphy. Judge Reinhold, Kevin Pollak, Christine Lahti, Sheila Vand and David Denman will also star.
Hostages
Toni Collette plays a surgeon who is recruited to operate on the president (James Naughton), an assignment that propels her family — Tate Donovan, Mateus Ward and Quinn Shephard — into a grand political conspiracy. Dylan McDermott is an FBI agent tasked with helping the family. Based on an Israeli series, the pilot is written and executive-produced by Jeffrey Nachmanoff (The Day After Tomorrow). Jerry Bruckheimer will also executive-produce. Sandrine Holt, Rhys Coiro and Billy Brown will also star.
Intelligence
At the U.S. Cyber Command, a unit has been created around one agent (Lost's Josh Holloway) with a very special gift — a microchip has been implanted in his brain that allows him to access the entire electromagnetic spectrum. Michael Seitzman will write and executive-produce with American Horror Story's David Semel, who will direct. Michael Rady, Meghan Ory, Marg Helgenberger and James Martinez will also star. Will Yun Lee, P.J. Byrne and John Billingsley will guest-star.
NCIS: Red
An upcoming episode of NCIS: Los Angeleswill act as this show's backdoor pilot, in which a small mobile team of agents — John Corbett, Kim Raver, Gillian Alexy, Scott Grimes and Edwin Hodge among them — are forced to live and work together as they crisscross the country solving crimes. From NCIS: LA creator Shane Brennan. Miguel Ferrer will also star.
The Ordained
The son (Charlie Cox) of a Kennedy-esque family leaves the priesthood to become a lawyer to prevent his politician sister (Hope Davis) from being assassinated. Lisa Takeuchi Cullen will write, while War Horse's Frank Marshall and Devious Maids' Larry Shuman will executive-produce. Sam Neill, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Nestor Serrano, Jorge Garcia and Audra McDonald will also star.
Reckless
A sultry legal show set in Charleston, S.C., where a gorgeous Yankee litigator (Anna Wood) and a Southern city attorney (Cam Gigandet) struggle to hide their intense attraction while clashing amidst a police sex scandal. What About Brian creator Dana Stevens will write and executive-produce with Ghost Whisperer producers Ian Sander and Kim Moses. Michael Gladis, Shawn Hatosy, Kim Wayans, Georgina Haig, Gregory Harrison and Adam Rodriguez will also star.
Second Sight
Based on the U.K. series of the same name, this gothic psychological thriller tells the story of a detective (Jason Lee) who has hallucinations caused by an autoimmune virus. He discovers that catching the killer depends as much on these insights as it does his eyesight. Homelandexecutive producer Michael Cuesta will write and executive-produce with his brother Gerald Cuesta and CSIexecutive producer Carol Mendelsohn. Kim Dickens, Christina Cole, Derek Luke, Jill Scott, Madison Moellers and Erik Jensen will also star.
The Surgeon General
This medical show about the Surgeon General of the United States (Jason Isaacs) was created by Samuel Baum (Lie to Me), who will write and executive-produce. Katherine McNamara, Kathryn Morris, Sean Astin, Christopher Thornton, Mike Colter and Beth Riesgraf will also star.
COMEDY
Bad Teacher
Based on the Cameron Diaz film, a sexy, foul-mouthed divorcée (Ari Graynor) becomes a teacher to find her next husband. Happy Endingsscribe Hilary Winston will write and executive-produce with Bad Teacherproducers Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky. Ryan Hansen, Sara Gilbert, Kristin Davis, Sara Rodier, Caitlin Kimball, Katie Walder and David Alan Grier will co-star.
Crazy Ones
A single-camera, half-hour workplace comedy about a father-and-daughter team in the world of advertising. (Oscar winner Robin Williams has been cast as the dad, while Sarah Michelle Gellar will play the daughter.) Ally McBeal's David E. Kelley will write the pilot and executive-produce with Arrested Development's Dean Lorey and McBeal's Bill D'Elia. James Wolk, Amanda Setton and Hamish Linklater will also star.
Ex-Men
A young guy (Chris Smith) finds camaraderie living among the more experienced guys — Kal Penn, Tony Shalhoub and Jerry O'Connell among them — he meets in a short-term rental complex. How I Met Your Mother's Rob Greenberg will write and executive-produce with Eric and Kim Tannenbaum (Two and a Half Men). Rebecca Breeds will also star.
Friends with Better Lives
A group of thirtysomething friends, including gynecologists Bobby (Kevin Connolly) and Will (James Van Der Beek) and model Jules (Brooklyn Decker), each think the other has it better. Friends' Dana Klein will write and executive-produce with The Neighbors' Aaron Kaplan. Rick Donald, Zoe Lister Jones and Majandra Delfino also stars.
Jacked Up
Rules of Engagement's Patrick Warburton stars as a beloved, recently retired baseball player who finds that adjusting to not working isn't as easy as he thought it would be. Friends'Greg Malins will write and executive-produce with Rules' Doug Robinson. Warburton will also produce. Tyne Daly, Missi Pyle, Rob Huebel and Ziah Colon will also star.
The McCarthys
This family comedy is about a loud, sports-crazy Boston clan that includes Jake Lacy, Oscar nominee Jacki Weaver, Jack McGee, Joey McIntyre, Jimmy Dunn and Jessica Chaffin. Brian Gallivan (Are You There, Chelsea?) will write and executive-produce with Friends with Benefits' Will Gluck.
Mom
A newly sober single mom (Anna Faris) tries to pull her life together in Napa Valley. West Wing's Allison Janney will play her mother, the source of all her problems. Two and a Half Men's Chuck Lorre will write and executive-produce with Eddie Gorodetsky. Nate Corddry, Matt Jones, Spencer Daniels, French Stewart, Sadie Calvano and Blake Garrett Rosenthal will also star.
Super Clyde
A meek, unassuming fast-food worker (Harry Potter's Rupert Grint) decides to become a superhero. Written and executive-produced by Raising Hope's Greg Garcia. Tyler Labine, Stephen Fry and Justine Lupe will also star.
Unauthorized Greg Garcia Project
A recently divorced guy's (Will Arnett) life gets more complicated when his mom (Margo Martindale) and dad (Beau Bridges) have marital problems of their own. Written and executive-produced by Raising Hope's Greg Garcia. JB Smoove, Michael Rapaport, Eve Moon, Cole Ewing and Mary Elizabeth Ellis will also star.
Untitled Jim Gaffigan Project
Comedian Jim Gaffigan stars as a harried but happily married New York City father of five (as he is in real life). Oscar winner Mira Sorvino will play his wife. Rescue Meco-creator Peter Tolan and Gaffigan will write and executive-produce. Christian Barillas and Tongayi Chirisa will also star.
Untitled Rottenberg & Zuritzsky Project
Based on an Israeli series, a married mom (Debra Messing) struggles to balance family, life and work. Smashco-executive producers Julie Rottenberg and Elisa Zuritsky will write and executive-produce with Homelandexecutive producers Avi Nir and Ran Telem. Paul Adelstein, Maggie Elizabeth Jones, Michael Nathanson and Madison and Mackenzie McNeil will also star.
Untitled Tad Quill Project
A recently widowed father (Matthew Broderick) raises his 12-year-old son (River Alexander) while jumping back into the dating pool. Bent's Tad Quill will write and executive-produce. Kristin Chenoweth, Phill Lewis and Kat Foster will also star.
