OK Grey's Anatomy fans, it's time for a little bit more bad news.

CBS has officially passed on the proposed Cagney & Lacey reboot, which means that Sarah Drew won't be coming back to TV in the fall after all, or at least not on a new show. The actress has played April Kepner on ABC's medical drama since Season 6 and will depart the series after next week's Season 14 finale. It's still up in the air how April will leave -- her character nearly died in this week's episode -- but it was some comfort knowing that Drew's face might still be a regular appearance on our TV screens.

Drew isn't the only one suffering from pilot season woes. NBC passed on its Bad Boys spin-off series LA's Finest, which had Gabrielle Union and Jessica Alba in the starring roles. ABC also chose not to take Greatest American Hero to series, prompting its star Hannah Simone to post about the importance of representation on broadcast TV.

"We just found out that network tv isn't ready for the first brown female superhero on tv. The Greatest American Hero won't be on @ABCNetwork this fall," the New Girlactress wrote. "Our hearts are broken. This would have been history making and so empowering for young girls around the world. Get loud RT."

CBS, NBC and ABC will announce their full schedules next week.
