CBS knows its audience likes cops coppin', lawyers lawyerin', and federal agents federal agentin'. The network announced its fall schedule on Wednesday and its stable of new series, dominated by procedurals, indicates that not much is changing on the Eye. We've got an FBI spin-off, Edie Falco as a police chief, and a drama about the absurd lives of people who work at a courthouse. On the comedy side, CBS will serve up Patricia Heaton as a mother who decides to go to become a doctor late in life, Pauley Perrette as the rebellious sister-in-law of trust-fund baby, and Walton Goggins as a widower who realizes he's a hot commodity on the dating circuit.
