Ex-Miss California Says No Way to Playboy, I'm a Celebrity

Former Miss California Carrie Prejean says she will "absolutely not" pose for Playboy or appear on the NBC reality show I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here!
Prejean, deposed from her throne this week after pageant officials accused her of missing appearances, ruled out the show and magazine in an interview Friday with Today.
Though Prejean once worried risqué photos taken as part of her modeling career would cost her her crown, she now says her refusal to pose for Playboy may have contributed to pageant officials stripping her title. She said on The Sean Hannity Show on Thursday that her lawyers are looking into possible legal action against pageant executive Keith Lewis, who announced her dismissal Wednesday.
Prejean told TMZ earlier this week that Lewis pushed her to take $140,000 to pose in semi-nude photos for Playboy, but that she refused. Lewis confirmed he presented her with the deal, but only because she wanted to know about all offers. She said the pageant also asked her to appear on I'm a Celebrity.
Prejean has said she was shocked to be fired and believes it was punishment for expressing her opposition to gay marriage during the Miss USA pageant.
The new Miss California, Tami Farrell, says she is ready to fill the role despite the circumstances.
"I think the biggest challenge is I'm stepping into the line of fire," she said. "There's a lot of controversy surrounding this and I want people to know this isn't what I signed up for."
