Carrie Fisher's one-woman show Wishful Drinking is headed to HBO as a feature-length documentary. Fisher can also be seen on Entourage this summer.
HBO will film a live performance of the stage production, based on her autobiography, later this month. The special will also include archival footage and interviews with Fisher's friends and family.

Wishful Drinking is based on the 53-year-old actress' rise to fame and the dark side of growing up as Hollywood royalty. Fisher is the daughter of Eddie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds and the author of the 1987 best-selling book Postcards From the Edge.
No premiere date has been set for Wishful Drinking.
Meantime, Fisher — best known for her portrayal of Princess Leia in the original Star Wars trilogy — will appear in the seventh episode of Entourage's new season as a Hollywood blogger. The HBO comedy returns with new episodes June 27.
