Carrie Bradshaw will soon experience a Cinderella moment when she slips on her first pair of Manolo Blahniks on the Sex and the City prequel The Carrie Diaries.

AnnaSophia Robb, who has assumed Sarah Jessica Parker's role, explains that Carrie receives the pricey designer shoes (green crushed velvet with yellow stars and jewels) as a job perk — and because she's the only girl in the office who can fit into the size 4½ heels. The shoes "hurt a bit," says Robb, a life lesson that foreshadows the pain of love.

If The CW drama makes it to Season 2, exec producer Amy Harris expects to begin introducing more of Carrie's favorite things — namely, the younger versions of Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte. (They'll be introduced in that order, just as they were in author Candace Bushnell's Carrie Diaries novels.) Unknown actors will likely be cast, says Harris, who will come up with fresh storylines for all three that will connect each to characters already on the show.
