The suit claims that film company MK2 S.A. promised to provide Carradine with the best possible amenities and an assistant to help him navigate Bangkok, but the actor was not brought to dinner with others working on the film the night before he was found dead.

"Defendants were negligent in failing to follow industry standard and provide David Carradine, the performer, with [a] sufficient assistant during the course of filming Stretch in Bangkok, Thailand," according to the lawsuit.

The lawsuit also claims Carradine's widow, Anne, has experienced difficulties collecting on an insurance policy that MK2 was required to have for the actor.

An email to MK2 was not immediately returned.
