Rapper Cardi B's appearance on The Tonight Show last December was one of the best things. She was hilarious and charming and had fun chemistry with host Jimmy Fallon. The clip got nearly 17 million YouTube views. Her appearance was so good, in fact, that The Tonight Show is bringing her back for the full hour on Monday, April 9 to chat, perform and interview guests alongside Fallon.

Cardi's debut album Invasion of Privacy drops April 6, capping an ascent that included her debut single "Bodak Yellow" knocking Taylor Swift off the top of the Billboard chart and becoming the first solo No. 1 by a female hip-hop artist in nearly two decades. As she continued to release tracks of her own and contribute show-stopping features on other artists' songs, she became the first woman to have five top 10 singles simultaneously on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.

Cardi B's guest co-hosting spot is the first time The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon has given Fallon a co-host, and it's pretty cool that it's a regular, degular, shmegular girl from the Bronx doing it. The Late Late Show has previously experimented with musical guests taking on a co-host sort of role, with Harry Styles doing a well-received weeklong residency last year and singer-songwriter Shawn Mendes starting one June 4.

If you're looking for even more Cardi in the coming week, she'll also appear as Saturday Night Live's musical guest on April 7 with host Chadwick Boseman.

The Tonight Show airs weeknights at 11:35/10:35c on NBC.
