After the annual spring rush of TV renewals and cancellations, the headlines have slowed down this summer, with July off to an especially sleepy start. The biggest news of the month is that Forest Whitaker's Bumpy Johnson is getting closure: Godfather of Harlem will return for a two-hour series finale on MGM+.

Elsewhere, Prime Video has renewed one faith-based series from the studio Wonder Project and axed another: House of David will be back for Season 3, but It's Not Like That will not be back for Season 2.

We're keeping tabs on all the shows that have been canceled or renewed in July below.
