Burn Notice Prequel Sneak Peek!

Ever wondered how Burn Notice's former Navy SEALs commander Sam Axe wound up in Miami Beach with burned spy Michael Westen? Blame it on a woman or two. A prequel movie, Burn Notice: The Fall of Sam Axe (April 17, USA Network), explains it all when the action opens five years back with Sam (Bruce Campbell) still on active duty and sent to the dangerous mountains of Colombia. "The whole mission is because Sam was fooling around with somebody he didn't know was an admiral's wife," says Campbell. His assignment: Work with the local militia, check out a supposed terrorist group and report back.

Look for the movie — directed by Burn Notice star Jeffrey Donovan — to have the spy drama's trademark humor, surprise plot twists, lots of heroics and a flirtation for Sam with a pretty, young aid worker (Kiele Sanchez). "This time," Campbell says, "we actually see Sam's love interest on screen."
