Will Bruce Jenner Have Surgery? See His Response to Kim's Question

No one's ever accused Kim Kardashian of being subtle, and it appears as though she's approaching her stepfather Bruce Jenner's transition to female with the same delicacy as everything else in her life.

In Part 2 of Keeping Up with the Kardashians: About Bruce, Kardashian asked Jenner if he plans to have gender reassignment surgery, using an improvised form of sign language. "You don't have a surgery to remove that, and then that means you're a woman?" she asked.

"You can do an awful lot down there," Jenner responded, adding that he has not made an appointment to have the surgery.

Jenner clarified that he always has been and still is attracted to women, but isn't sure if he'll continue to date women in what would be lesbian relationships.

But while Kim has been reacting to Jenner's announcement with confusion, her mother Kris Jenner and sister Khloe Kardashian had angrier responses, at least initially. In About Bruce, Bruce reveals that Khloe got upset that she had been kept in the dark for so long. Kris Jenner tells her ex-husband that she feels like she's in mourning. "I look at pictures of you and the kids and I feel really sad," she said. "I feel like you died, like Bruce died, and it's really hard for me to wrap my head around that."
