Charlie Sheen's wife, Brooke, has been admitted to a Los Angeles hospital with premature contractions, but the actor's rep said the mother-to-be is "doing fine."
"Brooke ... was admitted yesterday morning with premature contractions — which is not all that uncommon for someone at this stage of pregnancy, especially with twins," publicist Stan Rosenfield told People. "She's fine and is expected to be discharged from the hospital today."
The Two and a Half Men star and his wife are expecting boys, due in April. They will be the newlywed couple's first children together. Sheen has daughters Sam, 4, and Lola, 3, with ex-wife Denise Richards, and a daughter, 24-year-old Cassandra, from a previous marriage.
Sheen, meanwhile, said his sons' room is almost ready for them. "We have a deadline. It's that last-minute push with the paint, furniture and all the accessorizing and all that, but it's going to be lovely.
"Forget being a babies' room," Sheen said. "If I had a room like that growing up at any point, I would have been over the moon."
