Brittany Murphy's final film, Something Wicked, will finally be released more than four years after her death, the film's Facebook page announced Monday.
The movie will first be released on April 4 at the Regal Valley River Center 15 in Eugene, OR, where the film was shot. Described as a thriller about love gone wrong, Something Wicked also stars One Tree Hill's Shantel VanSanten and Pretty Little Liars' Julian Morris.

"The better we do in theaters, the more cities will be added so we need your help getting the word out," said the film's page. "Full press release to be posted shortly. Stay Wicked!"
Murphy died on Dec. 20, 2009 after collapsing in a bathroom at her Los Angeles home and going into cardiac arrest on the way to the hospital. Two months later, the coroner determined the primary cause of death was pneumonia, but said multiple drug intoxication was also a secondary factor. She had elevated levels hydrocodone, acetaminophen, L-methamphetamine and chlorpheniramine — all legal drugs — in her system when she died. Her widower, Simon Monjack, was found dead at the same home on May 23, 2010. Although his cause of death was also listed as pneumonia, her mother, Sharon Murphy, later blamed toxic mold in their home as the cause.
