VIDEO: Bristol Palin Debuts Acting Chops on Secret Life of the American Teenager

Sarah Palin has her Fox News gig and an upcoming Discovery Channel reality show. Now, it's her daughter's turn on TV.

Bristol Palin will make her prime-time acting debut on the July 5 episode of The Secret Life of the American Teenageras a new friend of Amy's at a music program for — you guessed it — teenage moms.

Star  Shailene Woodley didn't get to meet Palin's son, Tripp, but says she enjoyed sharing a scene with the headline-making 19-year-old. "She was really, really sweet — a really nice girl," Woodley tells TVGuide.com. "I liked working with her."
