Bristol Palin Posts World's Least Enthused Pregnancy Announcement

Just when you thought you'd heard the last of the Palins, they're crawling their way back into the news once more. Bristol Palin made an announcement today that she is expecting again -- but she doesn't seem too happy.

The announcement is titled "Big News" and begins by noting that she hadn't planned to announce it so soon, but "trolls who have nothing better to talk about" forced her hand.

"I wanted you guys to be the first to know that I am pregnant," she continues. "Honestly, I've been trying my hardest to keep my chin up on this one. At the end of the day there's nothing I can't do with God by my side, and I know I am fully capable of handling anything that is put in front of me with dignity and grace. Life moves on no matter what. So no matter how you feel, you get up, get dressed, show up, and never give up."

She declines to say when the tiny bundle is expected, but calls the whole thing is "a disappointment."

"I know this has been, and will be, a huge disappointment to my family, to my close friends, and to many of you. But please respect Tripp's and my privacy during this time. I do not want any lectures and I do not want any sympathy," Bristol writes.

It has been a tough year for the former governor's daughter: After getting engaged to veteran Dakota Meyer in March, the couple abruptly called it off two months later.

Since gaining national media attention during her mother's vice presidential run in 2008, Bristol has worked as a teen pregnancy prevention spokesperson and has competed twice on Dancing With the Stars.
