The network has greenlit 13 episodes of the series from Prison Breakproducers Matt Olmstead and Nick Santora.
Kings centers on several convicts, played by Malcolm Goodwin and Jimmi Simpson, who are pulled out of jail to help track down fugitives in exchange for lesser sentences. Laz Alonso, Domenick Lombardozzi and Brooke Nevin also star.
Production will begin this fall in Toronto. A&E will premiere Kings in early 2011.
