Fox has moved the finale of the axed Christian Slater sitcom to Tuesday at 9:30/8:30c, where it will air after Raising Hope, Deadline reports. Thus far, Breaking In has inhabited the post-American Idol Wednesday slot at 9:30/8:30c, but the network wants to test the show as part of its comedy block. A good showing could mean a resurrection for Season 2, according to Deadline.

Breaking In has averaged 7.83 million viewers over five episodes.To compensate for the open 30 minutes, Idol will expand to a two-hour show Wednesday.
