Get it, Girlfriend!
Divorces are often about saying goodbye about taking half, but that's not the case for Bravo's Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce. It's doubling up.
The network announced on Wednesday that it has renewed the freshman drama, its first original scripted series, for Season 2. Production on the 13-episode sophomore season begins this summer.
22 totally unnecessary spin-offs
Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce stars House alum Lisa Edelstein as Abby McCarthy, a popular self-help author whose seemingly perfect life and marriage dissolve, throwing her into the dating scene as a 40-something single woman. The show is based on the Vicki Iovine novels of the same name, and was developed for TV by Buffy the Vampire Slayer's Marti Noxon. Beau Garrett, Nexar Zadegan, Paul Adelstein, and Janeane Garofalo also star.
The series has performed modestly for Bravo, but was received warmly by critics.
Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce airs Tuesdays at 10/9c on Bravo.
