It took a G-rated animated feature to usurp the R-rated Deadpool's reign at the box office. Disney's Zootopia pulled in a surprising $73.7 million dollars this weekend, giving it the highest-grossing opening weekend for a Disney animated film ever, according to Box Office Mojo. Yes, that includes Frozen. The film is also still holding a healthy 98 percent Rotten Tomatoes ranking.

Gerard Butler's and Aaron Eckhart's action thriller London Has Fallen came in second with $21.7 million, while Deadpool dropped down two notches, with $16.4 million, after four weeks at the top of the chart. Tina Fey's Whiskey Tango Foxtrot came in fourth place with a disappointing $7.6 million, but it at least topped the controversial Gods of Egypt, which fell to fifth place with $5 million.

Risen and Kung Fu Panda 3 both fell, with the former taking No. 6 at $3.9 million and the latter settling for No. 7 with $3.5 million. Leonardo DiCaprio's Best Actor Oscar win last Sunday bumped The Revenant up from No. 10 to No. 8 with $3.3 million. Eddie the Eagle and horror thriller The Witch rounded out the list with $3.1 and $2.5 million dollars, respectively.
