Jurassic Worldtopped the box office again this weekend and has overtaken Avengers: Age of Ultronas the highest-grossing film of the year.
At No. 1 for the third week in a row, Jurassic World took in $54.2 million, bringing its overall domestic total to $500 million, Box Office Mojo reports. It also overtook The Avengers by crossing the $500 million mark faster than any American film before it.
Falling just short of the top spot was Pixar's Inside Out, which brought in $52.1 million in its second week. Ted 2, meanwhile, opened in third place with a disappointing $33 million, followed by Max, which debuted with $12.2 million.

Spy fell two spots to No. 5 with $7.8 million, and San Andreas dropped to sixth place in its fifth week in theaters with $5.2 million.
At No. 7 was Dope with $2.8 million.
Rounding out the Top 10 were Insidious Chapter 3 (No. 8, $2 million), Mad Max: Fury Road (No. 9, $1.7 million) and Avengers: Age of Ultron with $1.6 million.
