The Fantastic Four sequel — which, as our own Maitland put it in the new TV Guide Talk podcast (guest-starring moi), is "better" than the original if only because it's shorter — nonetheless predictably topped the weekend box office with a $57.4 million haul. Rounding out the top five were Ocean's Thirteen ($19.1 million), Knocked Up ($14.5 mil), POTC3 ($12 mil) and Surf's Up ($9.3 mil). Emma Roberts' Nancy Drew opened at No. 7 with $7.1 million (about a third of Aunt Julia's ask). In limited release to some 500 screens, Jaime Pressly's DOA: Dead or Alive drew a full $232,000.
