Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice pummeled everything in its path at the box office this weekend, taking home an estimated $170.1 million domestically and $424.1 million worldwide, Box Office Mojo reports. That makes it Warner Bros.' biggest domestic opening ever, as well as the biggest March opening weekend ever — in spite of overall ho-hum critical reception.
Zootopia came in second with $23.1 million in its fourth week in theaters, while My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 opened in third place with $18.1 million. Miracles from Heaven took fourth place with $9.5 million, with The Divergent Series: Allegiant, rounding out the top five, also taking in $9.5 million.
