A Lloyd Dobler mob — or "Mobler" — took over New York City Tuesday.
The mob, a group of young men wearing trench coats and white T-shirts, hoisted boomboxes over their heads and serenaded passersby with Peter Gabriel's "In Your Eyes."
The whole shebang, a re-creation of a scene from Cameron Crowe's film Say Anything..., was staged to celebrate the release of a 20th anniversary edition of the film on DVD. Indie band The Lloyd Dobler Effect was on hand to accompany the Doblers.
