Will Body of Proof Move to Cable?

After being canceled last week, ABC's Body of Proof might find new life on cable. According to Deadline, TNT, USA and WGN America have all shown interest in picking up the Dana Delany procedural.

With an average of 11 million viewers, Body of Proof would be a great catch for a cable network, especially WGN America, which has only started to show interest in scripted programming this spring."We had a very strong season in terms of development," ABC Entertainment President Paul Lee told reporters Tuesday. "I would love to see Body of Proof find a good home for itself. I love Dana Delany."

If Body of Proof were to be picked up for a fourth season, it would be the latest in a recent string of shows that have been resurrected after cancellation, including The Killing, Drop Dead Diva, Arrested Developmentand Unforgettable.
