In one of the most low-key renewal announcements ever, Fox confirmed that Family Guy and Bob's Burgers will return next season. In fact, they're already in production, which probably should have been a dead giveaway that they would be back. But unless you hear it officially, it ain't official. Now it's official.

Family Guy will almost be old enough to legally drink next year as it hits its twentieth anniversary. But because it took time off after being canceled following its third season, next season will be its seventeenth. The series just hit its 300th episode and is showing no signs of slowing down.

Fox's 2018-2019 Fall TV Lineup: Everything You Need to Know

Bob's Burgers will reach its ninth season, which just blew my mind. Though it doesn't get the mainstream attention of The Simpsons and Family Guy, Bob's Burgers has quietly become a hit for Fox and is trailing Family Guy in ratings by just a smidgen. It won the Emmy for Outstanding Animated Program in 2017 and will hit its 150th episode next season.

Bob's Burgers airs Sunday nights at 7:30/6:30c on Fox. Family Guy airs later that same night at 9/8c.
