Bobbi Kristina Brown was involved in a traffic accident days before she was found unresponsive in her bathtub, The Associated Press reports.

According to police records obtained by the news agency, the 21-year-old was driving a Jeep Liberty on Jan. 27 in Roswell, Ga., when she lost control, crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with another car. A passenger in her Jeep and the driver of the other vehicle were injured and taken to the hospital.

Four days later, on Jan. 31, Brown was found in her home and subsequently placed in a medically induced coma. She has been on life support and "fighting for her life," according to a statement from her family, ever since.

Records also show that Brown's partner, Nick Gordon, contacted authorities in July 2013 saying that she had fallen and was unresponsive. The officer wrote that she was disoriented and went to the hospital.

The news of Brown's car accident just days earlier comes after local police confirmed they are investigating mysterious bruises that had been found on Brown's body. It is still unclear whether these injuries could be related to the collision.
