We finally get some intel on "Operation Daylight"
On this week's Blindspot, one of Jane's (Jaimie Alexander) tattoos leads the team on a chase that could reveal career-ending secrets for some high-ranking FBI officials, including Mayfair (Marianne Jean-Baptiste).
When Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) finally confronts Mayfair about that mysterious "Operation Daylight" case file she's been desperately trying to keep hidden, he learns that the FBI may have screwed up big time when it comes to the handling of one of their confidential informants (guest star Lou Diamond Phillips).
Blindspot recap: Jane learns that workplace boundaries are no fun
After Patterson (Ashley Johnson) discovers that one of Jane's tattoos is the informant's file number, she starts sniffing around, but Mayfair is desperate to keep the information buried, lest it cause a "major embarrassment upstairs."
