Blindspot Exclusive: BIll Nye Shows Up, and a Surprising Character Geeks Out

Bill Nye's big guest appearance on Blindspot is nearly upon us, and from the looks of this exclusive clip of Friday's episode, we're not the only ones excited to see him.

The famous TV scientist is joining the show as Patterson's (Ashley Johnson) dad, a fact that isn't well known to most of the team. Tasha (Audrey Esparza) knows, and she's nonplussed, but those who don't are particularly shocked.

But there's one member of the Blindspot team who can't believe his/her eyes, and it isn't who you think it is. From the looks of it, this is going to be another fun episode of the NBC thriller.

As for the rest of the episode, we'll get some shocking news about Avery's father, and Weller will be after an elusive criminal. But come on, Bill Nye? On Blindspot? That's what we're tuning in for!
