Keisha Hatchett

If you've been wondering about the fate of Black Mirror, we've got great news: the dystopian anthology has been renewed for Season 5.

Yes, the series which explores techo-paranoia in often unsettling standalone episodes will be coming back to mess with your head even more. It's unclear when new episodes are slated to arrive but when they do, you can expect to see the show continue to tackle worst-case scenarios regarding technology and modern society.

The series was created and written by Charlie Brooker and is executive produced by Brooker and Annabel Jones. Season 4 offered up a horrifying and satirical take on Star Trek with the episode "USS Callister," starring Jesse Plemons, Cristin Milioti, Jimmi Simpson, and Chewing Gum's Michaela Cole. Other notable episodes included "Hang the DJ," which took on modern dating apps, and "Black Museum," about a disturbing main attraction in a museum.
