Billions Picked Up for Second Season After Strong Debut

Showtime's Wall Street soap will get a Season 2

Billions has been renewed for a second season, Showtime announced Tuesday on Twitter.

The drama stars Damian Lewis as a crooked hedge fund billionaire and Paul Giamatti as the U.S. Attorney trying to put him behind bars. The series, which Showtime sampled a few weeks before its premiere, earned 6.5 million viewers across platforms in its first week, setting a new record for a Showtime premiere.
