Beyonce Opens Up On Waiting to Marry

After a hush-hush wedding to music mogul and rapper Jay-Z, Beyoncé is finally getting candid about her wedding in the December/January issue of Seventeen magazine.

The R&B sensation, who began dating Jay-Z at 19, explained that she didn't want to jump into marriage too quickly because she doesn't "believe that you will love the same thing when you're 20 as you do at 30."

The 27-year-old singer, who tied the knot in New York City on April 4, also said she wouldn't ever want to marry specifically before the age of 25. "I feel like you have to get to know yourself, know what you want, spend some time by yourself, and be proud of who you are before you can share that with someone else."

But now that she and Jay-Z have been going strong for several years, the singer also told the magazine what important lesson her hubby has taught her — that everyone is human. "You still get sad, and you still get your feelings hurt, and you still get confused and vulnerable and nervous and scared. You have to find a person you can make it through the tough times with."
