BEAVER DAD "HATED" KIDS

Leave It to Beaver dad Hugh Beaumont was a nice guy but the late actor absolutely "hated" kids, according to TV son Tony Dow. "Hugh wanted out of the show after the second season," Dow tells The Toronto Sun. "He thought he should be doing films and things. He was a great guy, very talented and he was also a Methodist minister, but kids were not his specialty."
