NBC has ordered a new series from Bear Grylls, in which the survivalist will take celebrities to remote locations around the world and test their mettle for 48 hours.

Set to kick  off its six-episode season in late July, Running Wild with Bear Grylls will partner Grylls with actors Zac EfronBen StillerChanning Tatum and Tom Arnold, as well as former NFL player Deion Sanders and Today anchor Tamron Hall.

Running Wild allows viewers to see inside the hearts and minds of these guests in a very open, honest and vulnerable way, pushing them out of their comfort zones and seeing what they are like in real life when stripped of all the benefits of celebrity," Grylls said in a statement. "Ultimately, this show is about taking these stars on the adventure of a lifetime and being alongside them when they discover something new and empowering about themselves and their world. For me, that is always a privilege."

The adventures upon which Grylls and the stars will embark include skydiving in the Catskill Mountains and repelling down cliffs in Utah.

Running Wild with Bear Grylls premieres Monday, July 28 at 8/7c on NBC.
