Battlestar Galactica alums Grace Park and Tricia Helfer have each been cast in crime dramas, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Park, who portrayed Lt. Sharon "Boomer" Valerii, will star in CBS' Hawaii Five-O remake. She will play Kono Kalakaua, a new Hawaii State Police recruit straight out of police academy and the niece of Chin Ho Kelly (Lost's Daniel Dae Kim), the trade paper reports. Park joins previously announced cast members Alex O'Loughlin and Taryn Manning.
Katee Sackhoff signs on to ABC crime drama
Additionally, Battlestar's No.6, Helfer, will join the cast of Dark Blue for the TNT cop drama's upcoming second season.
Another Battlestar vet, Katee Sackhoff, currently stars on 24 and recently signed on to star in Richard Hatem's forthcoming untitled drama pilot on ABC.
