If you build a super cheesy Bachelorteaser, fans will come? That's what ABC is betting on, according to a new promo for the reality show's new season.
The spot shows new Bachelor Chris Soules (aka Farmer Chris) walking into a field of corn — and dressed in a beautifully tailored suit, natch — when he suddenly hears a woman whispering. But instead of saying "If you build it, they will come," which is the classic line from the 1989 classic Field of Dreams, the disembodied voice says, "If you're the bachelor, I'm the one." It's not long before Chris hears the voices of multiple ladies and starts to get confused... while they get catty with one another (this is reality TV after all!)
